Terrington, North Yorkshire
A private residence with substantial stone repairs, replacements, cleaning, re-pointing and gutter repairs to the front elevation of the property together with repairs to chimneys, cement render, and roofs.
The construction of French drains to the perimeter of the property and minor internal works were carried out involving plaster repairs and re-decorations. It was necessary to source a stone to match the existing which proved to be a challenge as the original stone had come from a local quarry, sadly now closed.
Working with the client and local Conservation Officer, we sourced a second hand stone which proved to be an excellent match. Lime mortar was used for all the work.
